Everyday she tries to hide
The hurt she feels inside
Pushing back the sorrow
Hoping for a better tomorrow
Runnung from the past
Wondering if she'll last.......
The future looks so bright
Yet, she's scared with fright
And pushing with all her might
To get past the block that feels like a rock
Pushing her under
To what seems like an eternal slumber......
Is she up to the test
that proves she can do her best........
She can beat the odds
As everybody nods
She has come out on top
And she will never stop.
